New School

Like everyone else, college is a brand new experience for me. So far everything has been exciting, new, and fun, but also challenging as well. The hardest part for me has been the severance of relationships back home. Many of my friends from high school are staying near our hometown or going to college elsewhere, leaving me knowing virtually no one on campus, which is a pretty disheartening experience. College also invites an exciting opportunity however, as I get to meet lots of new people and make many new friends over these next four years. I'm looking forward to joining organizations on campus and seeing how my classes turn out. Hopefully this will be a great semester!
