To me, college is everything that I needed. I needed to get away from my small-town life, meet new people, move away from my family for a period of time, and most of all, do some serious soul-searching. My whole high school career revolved around so many different interests and I never had time to pursue enough of any of them. I couldn't be happier to be here at Texas State. I am so truly happy to be living in San Marcos. I definitely didn't want to go to school anywhere else in Texas. The outdoors are my sanctuary and San Marcos definitely offers so many ways to be outside in all seasons!
I love San Marcos for more reasons that one, but it is home to me and I am so fortunate to call it so.
